I didn’t choose jewelry, it chose me.

Behind each piece lies a story expressing my love for wanderlust. My adventurous spirit leads me to find and collect organic and recycled materials to incorporate them into one-of-a-kind, unconventional, yet fashionable jewelry. Much of my jewelry incorporates items that I’ve collected during my travels: raw forms of driftwood, sea glass, feathers, stones, and rusty metals. The bold and edgy details of my work are a true representation of myself.

I’ve always dabbled in various medias of art since I was a child, with photography and fashion being my first two top passions. In high school I dreamt about being a fashion designer and I’m not sure what changed my mind, but that wasn’t the path for me. Even though that dream shifted I still wanted to be a creator of sorts and make that my career. In 2005 I was inspired to start a business after I touched the lives of a family living in poverty by selling my handmade semi-precious stone earrings to raise money for items on their Christmas list. After being lifted by that experience my new dream was to create a business with a philanthropic approach and make an impact in people’s lives with my craft.

My work has been evolving from the use of one medium to a beautiful convergence of several media, such as uniting my photography with my jewelry. The result is beautiful and unique wearable art. I challenge myself to create bigger and bolder jewelry that has a dramatic effect – which is what inspires me when enjoying other people’s artwork.
